The 2 will become 1

Alright, I admitt that I have not been a very good blogger. I might even be the worst person i know at it. But, I'm going to try to do better! I now have something I'm really excited to blog about it..WERE GETTING MARRIED! WHEEWW WHOO! Pete proposed Christmas Eve, and I must say I was in huge shock mode! and bless his heart, he was a nervous wreck :). I never imagined that the goofy, quiet boy that I dissected a frog with in the ninth grade would eventually become my husband (reaally weird saying "husband" by the way). If you dont know, the PETE SAM relationship has sure been an interesting AND LONG  rollercoaster. I was quite stubborn for awhile, but for some reason that boy was sure persistent. And now I am soooo glad he was! I am so thankful God has given us each other.

The proposal couldnt have been any more sweet. AND SUPRISINGLY, I DID NOT CRY! In a quick description : He had written a sweet note and passage from Ruth, rolled it up with ribbon and hid it on the tree. After i found it and read it,  I turned around and he was on one knee with a ring.  I hugged him first and he didnt even hear me say yes amongst all my gasping and yelling! haha. I did say yes OFCOURSE!

The wedding will be in Decemeber 2012. A few kinks need to be worked out before an exact date can be announced but we are super pumped! I'm quickly realizing that wedding planning is difficult, but oh so much fun! Everyone has been so sweet and thoughtful the last few days and it makes me feel so warm and excited! Thanks a ton for all the congratulations and best wishes!

Pete, Abby and I on Christmas Day at petes grannys in Calhoun City. I think Abby loves Pete just as much as I do.

We spent Christmas Eve night with some of my family after the proposal. Then on Sunday, I went to church with my fam and He went with his in Calhoun city. I drove to CC for lunch at grannys after church and then to petes other grannys for dinner! Pete went to deer camp on monday and I went to spend some time with my pop. I am so glad we got to share our engagement with our families! It made the weekend extra special to be able to celebrate our joy with them and most of all, our King's birth!

Please pray for us as we prepare to become ONE over the next year and pray that God will lead us into a greater love for HIM together!
