Let the new year begin!

Well, this was my last Christmas and New years as a Wood. I always said Id marry someone whos last name started with "A" (I dont like being last.) But...looks like thats not going to happen! On the bright side, I can keep my initials :)...I also wont have to share my name since petes cousin, Samantha Webb is getting married too! ( I dont really like to share either. ha! )
Pete and I spent new years grilling at his house with some friends, and then the guys shot fireworks over the lake. Im thinking  Pete, Ben and Scott had more fun shooting the fireworks than we did watching!... So thankful and  glad to ring in the new year with good friends!

Mom, Mal and I went to the dillards new years sale on sunday after church and it was absolutely crazy packed! and what do you know, I ofcourse picked out the one dress in the store that wasnt on sale! Mom bought it for me and said I had to wear it to every event from now until the wedding. So if you see me wearing a black and silver dress 50 times until next december, youll know why.
We peeked in the bridal store while we were shopping, (because I just cant stop thinking about the dress ofcourse). I saw my good friends Mary Carole and Meagan there too! Mary Carole is getting married in June, so well have to keep each other updated!  Mallory hopes that i pick the poofiest, sparkliest princess dress with 10000 beads on it. Needless to say, I have something very different in mind than my dearest sister. And I have already figured out that this dress finding endeavor will be very entertaining with mom and mal being involved....

We really should be on say yes to the dress redneck version.

This is my last week at home before its back to Columbus. And its going to be a jam packed week too: babysitting, working at the closet, baby showers, and jordan and jim's wedding!!!
Its been a wonderful break at home, but I'll be glad to get back in a routine.  I am not very excited about this semester...Neurology might surely be the death of me. However, I know pete and I will be so happy I did this in a couple of years. I am still excited about the many people I will be able to help one day. This part just isnt much fun...Maybe wedding planning will help me get through it :) and I cannot wait to see all of my friends at MUW!
